What’s the status of contagion of Corona Virus in Italy? What happened in the last 7 days? How CoViD19 has spread from the beginning of the pandemic? Review the graphs below and move your mouse on the bar and over the curves to get more detailed info. In addition, click on the flag below to rough data.
The blue bar shows new daily cases and the green one the number of recovered people. The red bar shows the number of deaths per day on the right vertical axe.
The blu line is the 7 days rolling average of new daily cases, look at the peak. The green line (the number of recovered people, calculated as difference between total cases less deaths and active) cross the orange curves (active CoViD19 cases) and they will catch again when the virus is gone and the number of new cases will be around zero.
The spread of CoViD19 in the last month of the contagion is reported in the graph above. Numbers are always showed as rolling average of the last 7 days.
The graph above reports the total number of Corona Virus cases per day from the beginning of contagion. Click on the button on the top of the graph and you can change the visualization of data:
Death Rate, calculated as number of deaths out of the total nuber of cases, is quickly decreasing; but we cannot forget that on 20th June 2020 it was at 14.53% in Italy. Only a better knowledget of the viurus and vaccine have contributed to the decrease of the death rate.
The graph above show the sum of new cases in the last 7 days divided by the total Italian population multiplied by 100.000. When data is bigger than 250 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, the Italian Goverment take restriction initiatives in order to reduce the spread of the contagion.
Here above you can view the cumulative spread of CoViD19, the graph is comparing the total number of cases vs the active one.
The next four graphs show the number of people dead because of Corona Virus in Italy per day from the beginning of contagion, the ones recovered in intensive care, the one hospitalized with symptoms and the one in home isolation.
